The 100 Marathon Club - New Zealand exists to provide tangible recognition for Kiwis who have completed the significant achievement of a century of marathons.

Originating in 1998 the club is now well recognised on the NZ marathon scene with a current total of over 40 members. ​
We are a fraternity style, organised group of like-minded New Zealand athletes who provide verification and recognition of the achievements of athletes (both runners and walkers) who have completed 100 marathons - and all subsequent significant milestones of your personal marathon achievement.  We seek to support and encourage others to reach their marathon goals and happily share our knowledge and experience with newcomers to the sport of marathoning.

Membership is by application with your achievements verified by the Club Committee.

MARATHON EVENT Organisers
Our growing membership participates regularly at multiple marathon events across New Zealand every year, encouraging and assisting other runners (of all levels of ability) at every event to stay in the sport and to set targets so that they may also eventually achieve 100 marathon finishes. 

By working with marathon event organisers to ensure the correct course measurements are used our existing members (and others who strive towards the goal) are assured of achieving their targets legitimately, to an internationally recognised standard. This course measurement criteria is detailed on our list of NZ eligible marathons and available for download below.

Any organisers of marathon events within New Zealand wishing to know more about working with the 100 Marathon Club New Zealand should contact us to ensure that their event is able to be both recognised legitimately and promoted to our growing membership and friends.​
